Weekend April 30th - May 2nd 2021
« on: April 30, 2021, 07:06:55 PM »
Yesterday I went for a walk in what an online dictionary calls "a thick cluster of vertical objects". In plain English: a forest or woodland.

Voigtländer Bessa-L / Voigtländer Color-Skopar 21mm F4 / Fomapan 400 in HC110.

Those are marvellous! And I'm not quite over those silky textures in Tony's clemetis from last week just yet. but here's one on Rollei 400S from an ultra clear day in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

I love that pinhole shot, Bryan. I only realised it was pinhole day that evening! I need to get better organised for these things.

Here are a few from a long-running project in the Thames Estuary.

Oh, I should have said, Tri-X in my F2.

I had forgotten how much I like Delta 100. Such brilliant whites. Thanks Adam for sending me a roll!

I'm gonna order some Delta 400 to see if I can get the same whites in a faster film.

I’ll be interested to see the results. I’ve not used Delta400. I’m always looking for a film to replace, my much missed, Neopan 400. Tmax is the closest I’ve found so far.

Thanks Andy for the kind words, I'm most humbly grateful.

Continuing with the "in and around home" series, another from the Mamiya C330f on Acros 100, dev'd in RO9.

the weekends seem to arrive quicker and quicker.

Lovely start, and I love how smoothe Delta 100 is.

Mines' from a walk in the local bosque here along the Rio Grande.
There are some really nice Cottonwood trees there.
Vivitar Wide and slim with Arista 100 dunked in caffenol. My current favorite combo to work with at the moment...mainly because I just got a new 100' roll of Arista and it's squeaky clean fresh. I almost always shoot old found in the desert expired and well dead kind of film.

There are some really great shots in the thread this weekend especially like Nigel's project and Tony's bucket.
I have been trying to get better with the Holga so I am carrying it wherever I go. First one is from a drive home past a country estate and the others from  a photowalk last weekend all with a roll of Kodak Aerograhic film that I found tucked away in the fridge.

Irv, these are great!
At first glance I thought they were Holga shots and was pleased to see that they were.
I'm often surprised, not surprised to see how well holgas do in good hands.

It's a good idea to take it everywhere...think I'll do the same for the summer.

Thanks Becky
I am pleased how they came out. I have just got to remember to wind on after every shot as my double exposures are never ever complimentary ;D ;D
