Weekend, 29-31 Jan

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

It is, from the top of the Palisades looking southeast. In the full-size version you can make out part of the Manhattan skyline fairly clearly, but it is lost in the clutter when scaled down.

From the archive, a photo of the Palisades from the other side of the river, taken in the Bronx just north of the Henry Hudson Bridge.

I took my trusty Olympus Stylus Zoom DLX snowboarding.  I bought it new about 25 years ago for snowboarding, it’s still working great after a lot of abuse.  The film is Ilford FP4+ developed in beer.  I hacked the DX code so it would meter at 50 instead of 100 for better snow exposure.

It's the return of Indofunk's 360 degree panoramas! ;D Here's one on Portra 400 exposed at 1600 on a very cold night in Williamsburg. Shot on the Holga WPC as usual:

For more information and another more experimental shot from the same roll, check out my panorama thread in photo essays :)
