I guess it's not the best time to fall in love with it...
How come is it that it's always the nicest things that get discontinued?

When I stopped by my primary camera shop/lab today, I noticed that they still have a fair amount of 35mm Acros on hand, two or three 20 packs and maybe another 25 or so loose rolls, at US$7.45/roll. That's 25% less than Freestyle's current "clearance" price.

I was glancing over this topic from just shy of two years ago.  A lot of doom and gloom.  But there have been some positive notes.  Ektachrome 100. Back in full force in 35mm and 120.  Fuji is selling an Across version 2.  Ferania P30 has a new batch for sale...still not sure if the color film will ever happen.  And various niche batches of film from various companies continues to make the news.

It seems that Kodak's new foray into smaller batches and master rolls as I mentioned earlier is working for them.  Hopefully we will see more.
