Super Bowl WEEKEND thread
« on: January 31, 2020, 11:43:18 AM »
There's this game in the States, you see...

I've been getting over my fear of flash, with the invaluable help of a little Sekonic flash meter. Tri-X @ 400 / HC-110. First Minolta Autocord with Rolleinar 1 CU lens; second Ikonta 520/15 with very off but happy accident framing -- I have the landscape framing down but the portrait not so much... (set with sort of NSFW pic shot with Koniflex https://www.hookstrapped.com/album/yesenia-january-2020 )

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Some shots from a drive around the north end of Oahu.  Ricoh Diacord L with Ilford HP5+ developed in Beer.

I used a Kaligar Auxiliary Telephoto adapter lens for this one, had to crop out some vignetting.  It’s not what I would call a high quality telephoto adapter.

I hear you about the flash. It's so hard for me to get comfortable with one. I used one last year for a while but I'm glad that 'while' is over.  ;-)

Hasselblad with a flash, 60mm lens I think.

I only seem to do studio shoots lately. I must find time to get out, walk the streets and shoot something interesting
