A couple of 5x4 pinhole pictures from New Brighton.
« on: September 11, 2019, 05:37:07 PM »
I picked up a RealitySoSubtle 5x4 pinhole camera a couple of months ago, New Brighton on the Wirral seemed like a good place to try it out.....
RealitySoSubtle 5x4, Fomapan 100. Developed in Kodak HC-110, dilution "F" (1+79) for 12.00 minutes @ 20'C.
Scanned with an Epson V800.

Beautiful pictures Matt! Great contrast and tonality for Fomapan. That Reality 4x5 is very tempting, but so far I managed to stay strong.  :)

So, how are the cameras?
I've seen them in a French magazine but never handled one in real life?

Many thanks indeed Manuel, Francois, Bryan, Leanne cs1 and irv_b.
Manuel and Francois,  the camera is brilliant. Really well made and the option yo choose which pinhole to use just adds to the experience. One thing I will say is it's VERY wide angle, I'm still getting used to jusy how close you need to get to avoid a great expanse of foreground.

Good to know.
So far the only commercially made I have experience with is an Ondu 6x6 mark 2 which is pretty good.
The only thing I miss with it is the possibility to mount filters on it... But they fixed that on the third revision.
