Agfa is coming back in the camera market
« on: September 11, 2019, 04:37:45 PM »
Well, who could let a good name get away?
Agfa is back, but this time with something I have a hard time wrapping my head around.
It's an instant camera that uses a built in 4 layer dye sub printer to deliver 3x3 prints. And if you want to save the photos in their native digital format, you have to link it to your phone to save it there...

Too bad they dropped the viewfinder. I just hope for them that their printer will be fast enough.
But the bad thing is that if they decide to stop making the ink, the owners are definitely screwed as there's no possibly of hacking it to take another type of film.

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

Kind of like Bell & Howell, a former great name in photography being used to sell crap.
