Victorian Neo-Gothic pile shot with the 4x5 pinhole. I was carrying a couple of pinhole cams and momentarily forgot that this one has the pinholes raised above the centre ... quite a bit of sky cropped out on these!

I like that! Maybe I'll try pinholes for the first time this summer.

These two come from Kodak. A couple of weekends ago I went out for a walk with the Bronica and saw this bumper sticker. The owner was actually getting in the car and saw me trying to take the picture, so he stopped and told me to go ahead and take it. Portra 400.

Here're three shots from a business trip to Berlin. Shot with an Olympus OM-1 with Olympus 50mm f/1.4 on Fomapan 400 @ EI 800 (first time I pushed it in Caffenol-C-H (RS)).

In the meanwhile carrying on my 5x4 adventures these were taken in my lunchtime earlier this week.

It's been a long time since I regularly used the Pentax MX, and I've forgotten how much I like the rendering from Pentax lenses.

Slipping in 1 minute before midnight with this reprocessed picture from December 2018's India trip. This was taken outside a temple at Kanyakumari, the southernmost point in India (also happens to be in my home state, but I'm from the way northern part of the state). This was the first roll of new Ektachrome that I shot, but when I developed it in C41, it came out totally orange. Like an underexposed redscaled film. The other CN roll that I developed at the same time came out normally. I still tacked it up to old chems, dumped the C41, and went on with my life. You saw the second roll of new Ektachrome that I shot in last week's weekend thread, and it was developed in fresh C41 and came out well. However, I revisited the India roll, and found that if I adjusted the histogram in EpsonScan, it actually came out pretty well! So here it is, new Ektachrome shot in India, developed in America, sat in a negative sleeve for 4 months, and is finally being shared with the world

As a rule of thumb, I always do a manual rough adjust of the histogram in Epson Scan so I can get in the ballpark and finish it off in Photoshop. High color scans help a lot.

Yeah, usually I pull the main (RGB) histogram into the realm of "flat" and then scan, doing most of the heavy lifting in Lightroom. This roll, I needed to adjust every individual (R, G, and B) histogram in order to get it looking anywhere near normal. Epson somehow gave the red histogram lots of love and had the G & B sliders nowhere near where they should have been It's not the emulsion though, because the next roll scanned perfectly.
