I remember reading an article in the Amateur Photographer Magazine about some Indian guy Dilish Parekh who had collected over 4,500 camera's and he's in the Guinness Book Of Records
there are various videos on you tube about him just search under is name

There was an article in camera and darkroom about a guy who had pretty much every camera ever made. He had something like 20000 unique items in his collection and from memory he sold it all to somebody in Japan.
