Topic: dark room light - globes?

Looking to buy one of these. What globes do they use? Generic globes or specific $$$ types....
Tried Googling but it's been unclear.

OK, I just opened it and inside is a Mazda 100/110v 15 watt clear sign bulb with a medium screw-in socket.

yeah all the examples I saw was clear too. but you call that medium screw-in? I think I've only ever seen that and the bigger one.

a check on wikipedia later and... they're called Edison screws https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edison_screw
and what's standard here (in Sweden atleast) is E27, E14, and E10 bulbs. Well, maybe not E10 as they've been replaced with LED lights

That would be what they call intermediate size. E17 in America and E14 small ES or SES in Europe for the safelight bulb.


I think I must have pretty much every type of bulb around the house. I even have a project for a high voltage transformer for a lamp with a mogul/Goliath bulb I have in the shed.
