This used to be an article on how to access the shutter by disassembling the front lens. However, I decided to remove it because it seems that re-assembling the front lens in a way that it's still correctly calibrated is not that easy no matter how thoroughly you disassemble it. The good news is that I got another Vito CL after fiddling with the first one (the one I'm having trouble calibrating). So I have a working Vito CL and a Vito CL for fiddling. I'm going to try to find a method for accessing the shutter without disassembling the front lens as soon as I find some time. I'm going to file this one under the "lesson learned, didn't work the way it was supposed to work, go back and try again" category.
