The trees and vine make a great composition, and the stairs are to die for.   :)

Thanks Manuel, I just need to find someone that will fix it, probably just needs a CLA.

It's just a standard Compur shutter in there, I think (probably either a Rapid or a Synchro). As long as you're not having transport problems, it should be a pretty straightforward procedure.

I've been on a haitus, mostly because I've been working like crazy.

Here's some from a color roll that I'm scanning now.

Currently 3 hours into a scanning session so I thought I'd add this in. Close up end of a chopped down tree.

Spent a little time with the Nikon F2 recently, although I'm finding that my eyesight ain't what it used to be and focusing is becoming problematic. TMAX 400

Had a day out on Friday and shot a roll of PanF+ in the recently acquired Bencini Koroll II. Few blank frames where i forgot the lens cap (which is small and screws in, and easy to miss unless I remember to look at the front of the camera, not just glance down), a double exposure, and one where i wound on too far.
Some nice shots though.

Lots of good images again this weekend - as usual just about catching up with scanning some old negatives. This one a view of some not so interesting buildings in my town, using an old AGFA rollfilm camera, now gone, and I think it was on Shanghai GP3 100ISO (no film markings), lab developed. That's the same batch I now get the backing paper impressions.

During my regular weekend 5-mile ruck/hike at a local state park, I decided to take my new Canon Elan 7 (courtesy of my GF) and give it a test ride with a roll of Fomapan 100. My roommate's cousin tagged along so I used him as a model. Developed in Ilfosol 3 1:14 for 5 minutes.

Autofocus is considerably faster, and while it is not the "eye" model, I'm very pleased. I wish the viewfinder was as big as in the EOS 650 but oh well..

I'm mostly drawn to Blaxton's Providence River shots...quite lovely and a bit vintage looking to me.
Indofunk's cross-pross is also nice...I have some of that film and may have to give it a try!

I spent last week in West Texas, so I'll have some shots to share with ya"ll later!
I took Holgas and the recently acquired Zenit TTL so fingers crossed something worked out!!

It does make a lovely mix of odd old style colors and rendition vs. a new-ish setting

On the 27th I shot a roll of PanF+ in my recently acquired Ensign Ful-Vue. Imagine my horror on glancing down after the tenth shot to discover the shutter speed had been knocked from "I" to "T" at some point. I set it to "I" again, and took two more shots.

Today I developed the film. The last two shots look fine, but the rest of the negs are totally black. I guess it had been knocked on to the "T" setting while putting the camera back together after loading the film.
I think I need to put some tape on the switch to stop it accidentally being moved.

Still, quite like the one result I got.

I quite like it as well.  In any case, one (or two) keepers out of twelve is a decent take.
