We sat outside at a local izakaya; a few lemon-sours, fresh maguro sashimi, grilled ika and jagaoimo-batta. Pack of Polaroid wasted on the passing trains pulling out of the station...

How close do the let you get to the tracks in Japan? You'd be shot if you got that close in London. That first one is amazing.

both are very cool. what camera? 600 film it looks like. long exposure?
when i was in japan, there was a yellow line, but you could pretty much stand a couple feet away. crazy when the shinkansen blasts by.
