Haynesflex?

If anyone's looking for a stocking filler, I noticed today in my local Waterstones that Haynes are doing what looks like a Gakkenflex/Recesky type 35mm TLR kit for £19.99.

If I didn't already have a Gakkenflex, I might have bought one.

For US members the same camera is being sold by UltrafineOnline Photo for $25. Not too into craptastic plastic cameras myself but some members are (and even do fantastic work with them). Just FYI. Their camera is under the Recesky label but I think they are all the same.

I have a Recesky and can confirm that it is a fun build!
You get a few fowl language moments, especially when putting a retention clip on one of the spools only to have it pop out when you try and assemble the thing.
You will need a long screwdriver for securing the sides.
The viewfinder is just junk as it is so you will need a bit of vellum/rosco diffusion material/polyester drafting material to make it usable.

I haven't put enough stuff through it to judge but I really enjoyed the build, including those moments that need some improvisation.

Too bad there are so few kit cameras like that out there.

Yeah, the last camera by superheadz/powershowel was a fun build and I was gonna do something for the fw vidcast but it never really worked. Still got it and wondering if I can repurpose the lenses one day

It's actually the Konstruktor that got me into kit cameras.
When it came out, I did an extensive write-up that I put on Flickr.
To this day, this was my most popular photo of all time!

The camera is fun to build but you need a set of needle-nosed tweezers to put on the small springs.
Mine is the regular version, not the new flash edition.

I built a Konstructor years ago and gave it away, I have a flash version awaiting some time to build it
