My son got published

While we were on holiday my youngest (also Irvine) got a notification that they had published his shoot. Ok it may be an obscure japanese fashion online mag but I'm proud of him.
He is studying Fashion Photography at Uni in London and their first year was all done on film. Consequently when they came to do their end of year shoot he felt comfortable to shoot with a Hasselblad 500C loaned from the uni, (they could shoot digi if they wanted) they also had to organise a stylist, models and an mua. He had to do the developing but not print only scanning.

Congrats to Irv #2. Obscure or not, getting published is a somewhat objective affirmation of an artist's skill. Onward and upward from here. Hopefully, he keeps film in mind as he progresses in the field.

I would love if an obscure magazine published some of my stuff!

Congratulations to him. Hope he enjoys what must be a very dynamic genre.
