Pet names in Japan usually being derived simply from a concatenation of full names. So while Bronica become
Buroni
, Macdonald's becomes
Macudo
, a difficult job becomes a
panassu
Starbucks becomes
Sutaba
, Brad Pitt becomes
Burapito
,
etc
... Skj.

I've got an EC to try out as I've had some mechanical issues with my S2 series cameras. More when I get a chance to use it! Say hello to big daddy! It definitely has a '70s electronic feel to it.

Indeed, I nearly bought an S2a (beautiful cameras), but ended up going for a Pentax 67 instead (my SQ-B covers me for 6x6) but I still want one.

okay, two problems...
- anyone got any tips on getting in the three screws inside the winder on a S2 or C?
- anyone have any experience with aperture rings getting stuck on zenzanon lenses?

btw johan_lindgren here on the forum sorted that focus issue for me.
ha taped a bit of rolled up wettex (a thin, spongy kitchen cloth) on the back of the film cart keeping it firmly in place as the film holders were worn out so it could slip back a bit sometimes.
