The oyster boat at first glance almost looks like it has waves crashing around it.

The wreck of the Peter Iredale hits the water every time the tide has come in since 1906.  The oyster boat is sitting on a bed of oyster shells.  There are mountains of oyster shells all around Willapa Bay, it's a big industry there.

It's funny because shipwrecks are something we don't see around here. You have to drive a bit east of Quebec city to start seeing a few.
Here, all we have are container ships and some 20 foot fiberglass leisure boats.
