Topic: NEC Photography Show

If anyone's this year, I giving talks on the Saturday and Sunday on the Linhof stand. It's a presentation on "The Analogue darkroom in the digital world" - mainly about alternate processes with a particular concentration on platinum printing. I imagine there will be an overall bias towards digital at the show, but I'm doing my bit spreading the word about a process from 1873 :-)

I'm guessing the emphasis will be on software throughout the exhibition hall, but I'll be carrying my red bellows Isolette as a one-finger-up to that lot.

David did indeed treat everyone that turned up to an inspirational talk on his platinum print process, he even passed one around so that we could marvel at the quality. Had a chance to catch up with Sandeha to boot!

I must say I really enjoyed the day.  And Paul, you're right about David's prints ... which I can now reflect on at leisure!
