Don McCullin on Desert Island Discs
« on: December 22, 2015, 07:58:37 PM »
I found this edition from Desert Island Discs featuring Don McCullin from 1984.  A fascinating insight into a remarkable photographer.  Not sure if non Brits can listen but for those of us who have the misfortune to be license payers it's well worth listening to.

Good find Charles, I'm looking forward to this.

Have to disagree with you about the license fee though, I think it's an amazing bargain.

Couldn't agree more.  It is not that I have a downer on the BBC but a downer on the parlous state of the output of British TV stations.  Utter bilge.  Still this edition of Desert Island Discs heralds from an age before reality TV  -  when you needed more than three brain cells to be able to enjoy TV and radio.  Well worth listening to.
