Feel good photo messages
« on: November 20, 2015, 09:17:44 PM »
After seeing Gothamtomato's cute "don't be negative" series of stickers, I got thinking about various feel good photography messages I've seen on stuff.
And I got wondering what's your favorite feel good photography message? Can be yours or somebody else's as long as it's genuinely feel good.

Since these days we pretty much all need a bit more feel good in our lives, I thought it would be the perfect time for something like that.

This is my favorite. I know Leon's going to be grinding his teeth when he sees I posted something taken with my old uber crappy cell phone's camera, but I think the message goes deeper than pixels and grain.

I discovered this one tattooed on the back of a girl who was doing her groceries. I asked her if I could take a picture of it and she said yes... a rare thing. She even pulled the back of her shirt so I could get a good view of it! I so wish I had a good camera with me at the time, but the important thing was to get it while it was in front of me.

Enjoy the message
Francois

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

+1 point for the "develop from negatives", -1 point for using an image of a DSLR which does not use negatives! :D

Seems obvious, but I like any message that promotes calmness.

There's no manual winding lever. Though lots of film SLRs don't have one (my N2020 is full auto advance). Other than that, the body modeling just screams DSLR, but that's subjective.

Oh, I didn't realize there were film cameras without winding levers. I take back the demerit!

Doh, that's quite clearly one of the first EOS models.   Might even be a prototype.   ;)
