Nice one, Dave!  From me, more adventures in my neighbor's garden.  And more expired Portra NC souped in my kitchen.  Roll #22!

Some shots from my trip to London a couple of weeks ago. Lomo purple in my XA2 home souped in tetenal C-41 kit. Frankly I don't know why I even buy the stuff, but from time to time you get an email where they're claiming they got something new at just €10-12 per roll. Everytime I say to myself this is the last time but then you end up buying 4 rolls of cine200 or something like that, which is in fact fuji motion picture film and you think to yourself....... oh well

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Here's a couple of  pictures from our recent trip to Paso Robles on the Fourth of July weekend. Last night enjoin a cold beer I developed this roll of HP5+ push to 800 with rodinal 1+50 my tap water was coming out at 80° so I went with that temperature. It was calling  for 70° but I didn't feel like adding an ice cube to the water.

Take me back to the 80's please !!! I don't  like this time ..

Excellent work again from all.
The weekend threads never fail to entertain and inspire.

New light through old negs...
A few years ago, two of my brothers were involved in a local pub tug-of-war team. Being of stout frame, I was asked to join. An offer I politely declined as it seemed far to strenuous. I did, however, agree to take some photos of the team, and accompanied them to a number of competitions. They were a narcissistic bunch, so I sold a fair few prints along the way.
This shot is of Pete, and if I remember correctly, was taken with a Nikon F301 on HP5.
Quite a volatile character, Pete has the intimidating air (and reputation) of someone you wouldn't want to meet alone in a dark alley, but behind the bravado, a genuinely lovely big-hearted guy.
Merveille de Bollwiller.
A hardy, vigorous and productive variety with large nuts!

I have nothing to contribute this week, but I enjoy the whole show very much and for some reasons especially Leonores ersatz therapy.
