For anyone interested, you can see final shots and easier to view comparisons at the following link:

I must admit that I'm impressed. I really didn't know what to expect when it comes to slide film but it looks like it works pretty well in the end.

Since slide film has a pretty steep contrast curve, a small increase in fog+base density can really mess with the rendition.

I'm really glad it worked for you :)

Indeed, I too am glad! It looks like you've managed to produce a  useful, simple to use and versatile tool!  :)

I'm very much looking forward to giving it a run with some Ektachrome 160T, in what I hope to be the near future!

quick test installed fine on factory BBOS 10.2.13062. but cannot launch. have not tried newer 10.3 or other android compatibility methods.

I know it wouldn't convert to Blackberry on the site. I think it's probably due to the lack of a developer signature hash or something like that.
But the thing is I don't really know how to get one and how to integrate it in the package... I know it's just a zip file but I haven't gone digging into it.

as expected works fine on a Blackberry Q10 with BB10.3.1865 :D
ALT key is on and does not disperse upon exiting the app. Only when a new text field is on screen it goes away.
I just had to run a Canadian app on a Canadian company phone!

nice!

I got inspired and fired up my blackberry after having it lay dormant for a while. unfortunately the cursor ball crapped out and can't register downward movements anymore. cursor is stuck on the top of the screen what the heck xD

I find that constantly moving the pad for a minute or two sometimes helps.

There must either be dirt between the contact and the carbon pad or the contacts are simply worn out like on my TV remote.

probably some crud in there. it operates like an old mouse ball and I can feel one of the wheels not being in contact with the ball.

Those were just awful. I had one which required frequent shaking...
