Am I the only one who finds it difficult to use an entire roll on a single subject?
At least, with 36 exposures on 35mm anyway.
I dare say it'd be a bit easier with the 12 on 120 I get with the C330, but then I might struggle to find half a dozen that make the grade...

Anyway... digressions aside, stop whining and get back on topic... I've been itching to get a one subject, one roll under my belt since the idea was proposed a few months back, and here for your consumption it finally is... comments and critiques not only welcome but positively encouraged.

All handheld with Nikon F4 loaded with Kodak EBX100 during a short but enjoyable visit to the Ashdown Forest in Sussex.

Lovely photos.  Must've been great to get there on a dry, sunny day as it was miserable and wet the day we visited...!!

Also, just a quick note:

The intention of "One Subject, One Roll" isn't to force anyone to use a whole roll on just one subject - only that the subject should be 6 frames selected from photos taken on a single roll.  Therefore, in theory, you could have up to 6 "subjects" on a roll of 36, two subjects on a 120 shot square, etc.....

There's nothing against using a whole roll; in fact, many of us need the wriggle room provided by a roll of 24 or 36 frames to enable us to select 6 photos that we're happy will stand out as representative of the subject. 

One of the ideas behind "One Subject, One Roll" was to encourage us to think about the technical stuff as well as the aesthetic stuff - so we get the best out of what we're shooting.  I know that, left to my own devices, I used to just "shoot and hope".  I'm now finding that I'm starting to get a better hit-rate out of the film I shoot.

Aaah..! Blinded by my misunderstanding... thanks for clarifying things for me, LD. Although, without the compulsion to shoot the whole roll, I'm one of those who'd have half-shot rolls in the camera(s) for months on end (esp 35mm). So perhaps (at least for me) my misunderstanding was a good thing.
It also helps to keep neg filing and slide box labelling nice and simple.

Very nice, ive just loaded some 20 years out of date Ektachrome i was given hoping i will get some unusual colours

Oh how I love those "detail" shots!! Well done! The colors seem very different from, say, Ektar, or E6-processed Velvia. Is there some "story" behind this EBX stuff? I have no experience with it. Wait, I might've shot one roll of it a long time ago, it would've been long-expired, and I probably processed it bleach bypass. So yeah, I have no experience with it :P

No idea why, but EBX or elitechrome extra colour, to give it its proper name, seemed to become my default for 100ASA 35mm slide when I first took the jump from print film, and I've stuck with it ever since...Guess I'm just a creature of habit :D. Perhaps I may have read that it was a bit more forgiving than velvia, which was the "vogue" transparency at the time.
For some reason I prefer provia 100 for medium format, but then I mostly use M/F colour for landscapes, which probably suits the slightly greener bias of fuji films (provia being a little more neutral than the "super-greens" of velvia).

Of course, there is always the chance that my scanning technique is contributing to the occassional colour-shift  :-[. I can see a bit of purplish fringing in the sky areas through the trees.
