Great shots, Manuel. It's raining cats and dogs for days here, so I don't have anything new

Love the second shot Manuel

I have more from wine country. Summicron 50mm and Voigtlander 50mm F1.1. Dev'd and scanned by yours truly, with the exception of the C41.

It was a free show that was on by the winery we went to. Basically the distributor who distributes this brand of wine was having their staff christmas party but since in the wine world nothing good happens at christmas they save the party for "harvest". I got some tickets to go to this harvest party.

The band was the Arkells. They are a group from Hamilton. I know this because we have done some stuff for them with work. Turns out they had some kids who really enjoyed the music so they invited them all to come on stage. It got pretty crazy. They said this has never happened for them so I thought it would be fitting to snap a few shots.

Where do you start? Some lovely entries this week. Particular faves are Manuel's 2nd, TinTin's 3rd and Kev Allan's ironworks.

Mine are from a roll I found in my camera (probably a few months old) and finished off yesterday in London.  Nikon F6, expired XP2 Super (10 years expired) and Nikkor 20-35mm f2.8 + 50mm/f1.4 (sax player).

Interesting view of St Pauls, I was photographing there last weekend and must have stood within a few feet of your point of view (entrance to One New Change shopping mall?) for at least one shot. Just processed the film, will try & post a scan of a print next w/e.

Someone mentioned boats?

I finally went out for shooting yesterday.. It was strange. The sun was shining, but I was soaked with the light drizzle.

This week it's an unintentional partial double that I took during rehearsal with my favorite band ever, Mad Juana (the gig was this past Friday). Guitar player/leader/Finnish raconteur Sami Yaffa and djembe player Rain Bermudez.

Canonet, TMax100, HC110 H, first shot without flash second shot with flash. I'm trying to work on my B&W flash photography.

Mad Juana by Indofunk Satish, on Flickr

For those of you who like backstories (and I've probably mentioned this here before), Sami was in a Finnish band called Hanoi Rocks, which was one of the very first punk/hair/glam rock bands in the 80's. In fact, although they were relatively unknown outside of Finland, a lot of American glam rock bands, like Motley Crue and New York Dolls, cited them as their main influence. In a tragic story that ended the life of the band Hanoi Rocks as it was, their drummer Razzle was out partying in LA with Vince Neil from Motley Crue and died in a car accident where drunk/drugged driving was clearly the cause.

Anyways, Sami is still playing with glam rock band revivals, including the new Hanoi Rocks lineup which goes under the name of the lead singer Michael Monroe, as well as hosting programs on Finnish television and Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, etc. Between all of his projects, he uses the one week he has off every year to lead this project Mad Juana, which is very much unlike anything else he does. It's a gypsy/rock band in the vein of Gogol Bordello, and like I mentioned, it's my very favorite band that I've ever played with in my ~30 year music career. For anyone who may be interested, here are some videos where I'm playing with the band (they haven't put out any new albums since I joined in 2011).

And some Freestyle/Arista Premium 400 in the F5 (I noticed during the shoot that it was reading the roll as 800 ISO, so I developed it as such - not sure what happened to have it read the DX code at 800, but I know it didn't read it as 800 for the whole roll):

I would recommend them. It takes a while but the scans they provide are very good on the rare few I don't manage to mess up in camera.

They are one of a few relatively new labs that pride themselves on getting great scans. I follow a few of these on Instagram and some of the results are impressive. Examples; carmencita film lab, the find lab, Richard photo lab.

Thanks!
It's just a regular Holga 120 pinhole with 35mm loaded in it.
My only adjustment is I put a clicker on the 35mm film canister so I can count clix and not rotations to not waste extra film when winding on.
