Mysterious Camera
« on: September 08, 2014, 02:22:13 PM »
Maybe somebody here will know something about this silly camera I've recently received. I cannot find out anything about it. When I google the words printed on the camera all that comes up are links to the many different places the seller tried to get rid of it before I bought it.

It's very tiny, very cheaply made, and very mysterious. It doesn't even have a country of origin printed on it. Has anybody seen one of these before? Thanks!

Never seen anything like it either... My guess is that it was made as a promo item of some sorts...
Put a roll through it, you might be surprised by its lo-fi aesthetics (I doubt that it will give you anything near Leica quality).

Maybe you've stumbled on the next lo-fi fad camera ;)

there are lot of similar cameras of unknown origins. possibly made in china. regardless of origin might be something that can surprise you with its results.

Looks like a made in China 60s or 70s camera. Probably sold in a gift shop or somesuch..."takes real photos!" And all that.

  • I'm Jake and I love analog photography. I shoot 4x5, 120, 35mm, and all kinds of Polaroid.

I'd be interested as to what's on that roll. Did it come in it?

Toy camera day is coming up, I'd think that camera would qualify.

That film came in an old Praktica but was ruined when I opened the camera.  :-[  I included it to give a sense of scale.

I imagine I could use it on WTCD, I might even do a video review.
