Photo Op.....Monday evening

Wherever you are, whatever you do,
take a moment-
better yet, take lots of moments to look west after sundown.

A very photogenic Crescent Moon, with Venus and Saturn will be setting in the west.

excellent - thanks A.B.  I think the clouds shoudl have cleared by then over here so we shoudl get a good view.

i think the giant dust storm (or haboob, as we lovingly refer to them) heading this way is going to obscure my view.

It's worth taking a peek at!

We had clouds here, but I wasted some film on it anyway.   :)

BTW- Sean, that dust storm headed to Phoenix might make some interesting and ruddy sunset/Moon photos.  Don't take your good lenses out in it though!

good point Chris, although. we've been very lucky in the far southeast - not much rain at all.  those floods this weekend look horrendous, especially after a repeat performance 6 weeks ago - thoughts going out to anyone in the midlands area of England - time to build an ark I think
