Kevin Costner on the Challenges of Getting New Film Black and White Made

First of all, they transposed the words "Black and White" and "Film".

Then, why is Kevin Costner fighting to get a new B&W filmstock produced? Is he secretly a Lomo-kid?

Will it be better than Tri-X? Will he have a Kickstarter to fund it?

But when I clicked through, I realized that he is making a MOVIE called Black & White :D

Or is the movie called "White and Black" as the title is mentioned later in the article.

Typical stereotypes—crack addiction, an absentee father and a “white savior” grandfather—aside, White and Black promises to hit on a number of discussion-worthy topics, including race in America, child custody and unconventional family structures.

No, White and Black is the name of Jack White/Jack Black's new band.

You're kidding right?

You likely know more about how serious those artists (if you want to call jack black an artist) take their music. But I would like to think that Jack Black wouldn't last 10 minutes working with Jack White. Their personalities are so hyper opposite it's not even funny.

Actually I would pay good money to see them together tintin. Especially since it would likely go horribly wrong. I agree that black would probably get an ice pick in the eye or something. Jack white is so charmingly old fashioned that I cools see him using one on a regular basis.

And I am not saying he deserves it. I just think it would happen. To his credit and speaking of black and white film, I think black makes an awesome Orson Wells

Yeah, because he has almost zero freedom to improvise the script whatsoever!

If his previous output is anything to go by (Waterworld, The Bodyguard, Tin Cup......) I won't be beating a path to the local cinema (or any other) to see it.  If it's a bit more up to the standard of Dances with Wolves, it might be worth watching, though....

I kind of like those drunk histories, but the people narrating them don't really seem to be drunk. When I'm certifiably DRUNK, then my speech is slurred, I stop in the middle of sentences, and pretty much make no sense to anyone. These YouTubes should be called "slightly tipsy histories" or maybe "people with incredibly great tolerances who are still not drunk ... histories". That said, the ending of this one was great :D
