Instamania
« on: February 25, 2014, 09:24:10 PM »
When I was a boy I was given my first camera, a Kodak Instamatic 50. Now I could get 3 Ferrania films (expired 2006) and it will be a huge fun to shoot the magic square pics again some decades later.

My father was a brave photographer, he owned an Agfa Synchro Box, later a Zeiss Contina and at last a Minolta Hi-Matic. He took this pic with my brand new Instamatic.

That's great Reinhold, my first camera was the Instamatic X-15F.  I wouldn't mind running some film through it again if I can find it.  It sounds like that's one of the formats that Ferrania may eventually resurrect.  I think I have a cartridge of 126 film somewhere but my only concern is how the camera would expose it.  There must be a way to hack the film speed sensing system to expose at a lower ASA.
