Now I'm retired, walking the dogs daily is part of my daily routine and I've managed to follow my own advice and always carry a camera. The camera of choice for this is a Franka Solida 6 x 6 folding camera which cost me the princely sum of £10 from a well known auction site and fits easily into my coat pocket. Although I'm sometimes a little disappointed by the sharpness it continues to surprise me with how well it can cope with a range of lighting.
My morning walk is usually of 2 or 3 miles around the local golf course which borders the River Waveney. Having done the walk for most days when we are here (see my other post Travels in a narrowboat) I sometimes think that I've exhausted the possibilities but the following photographs have all been shot in the last couple of months.
