Merchant City Cameras in Glasgow (formerly Quiggs):

http://www.merchantcitycameras.com/

Not a great range of stuff but the people are friendly, helpful and enthusiastic and the prices are really reasonable. Also offer a good repair service (there have been a quite few times over the years when I've been in there with frakked gear in a panic and they've fixed it)

Highly recommended.

After the sad demise of Jessops (maybe not the greatest, but still proper bricks & mortar camera shops) I thought it may be an idea to extend my personal 'Camera shops in London' Google map (Yes it's a bit geeky I admit!) to the UK.

I've made it open so anyone can edit. If others are interested I thought it might be an interesting Wiki type project. It probably goes without saying but please only add shops you'd recommend to your fellow 'wasters.

You can find the map here : http://goo.gl/maps/ToIkN

Any questions please ask.

Just purchased a optical slave flash trigger from:

www.colinsfoto.com

Ordered bank holiday Monday night and received today, so quite pleased with the service.
