Weekend 4-6 October
« on: October 04, 2013, 05:04:45 PM »
It feels weird to actually be starting a weekend thread.

Here's my favorite from this week: Olympus 35RC, HP5+, and it's from the second roll I've ever developed myself (Caffenol, 10 minutes).

Very nice! That farm house looks like it has a friendly face - only the mouth is a little off.  :)
Here are 2 from the forrest around here (Zeiss Ikon ZM, Kodak Portra 400):

Is it Friday!  8)

So many to like, but Andrea and Phil's images are rather wonderful.

I shot 12 sheets in the p***ing rain today - the poor old 4x5 is sitting on its tripod indoors with bellows full extended steaming gently

Now it's officially Autumn, here is one I scanned from our Spring

Fluminian, nice shot of the boat prow in the rain. I am so jealous of the rain shots. Here in San Diego, CA, we have another 2 or 3 months before there will be rain. Yes, I complain about the weather in San Diego.  8)

Thank you, James.  :) It seems that the old adage  "the grass is greener on the other side" is  perfect for this
situation as I'm envious of the sunny weather in San Diego. We do have rain-less and hot summers, but in
autumn and spring we have lots of rain because rain clouds spin around our 1396 meter high mountain Učka
and pour their load on my home-town quite regularly.

Lovely work, all.

Faves this week are Nepumug's bike, Dave's delicate contre-jour and Phil's wheat grower.

Too busy packing for tomorrow's flight to Chicago to scan / post anything this week. However, I've got a load of 35mm XP2 Super and Provia 100f to shoot along Route 66 over the next two and a half weeks. All being well, I'll try to have a taster ready for the weekend thread 25/10.

See you all in a short while..... 8)

I am finally playing with a halfframe (Pen EES-2) and had fun with my first short roll - which still lasted forever.

Mmmmhh, Phil´s one is my fave so far, it strongly reminds me of Mr. Shore´s style  ;)

This time I adhere to guidelines and post one pic, Rollei Kodak tmax 400, taken in Iceland, first time for little Alma to ride a ¨real¨ horse (even if icelandic..). The two teachers were almost as proud as me  ;D

Another swamp.  A friend and I went exploring this new place in a dense morning fog today.  Shot in the Gundlach Korona on Delta 100, souped in HC-110B

Must say I'm partial to Phil and Nigel's US shots.

This is not much really, from a roll to test the 120 back adapter for the DUO TLR. TMX in HC-110 dilH.

Stunning photos Nigel. Wish I had a head for heights. Writing this from hotel in Oklahoma City at half past 7 local time. Off to Amarillo tomorrow so a bite to eat and a relatively early night.
Back in Blighty on 24/10 - hopefully with some interesting photos. The silly buggers over here have shut Grand Canyon visitor sites. Still going to go have a look though :o
