Just to add my thanks to Sandeha, Steve & Moiz for your company over the weekend.

After rising at 5am yesterday morning, 3 hours on the beach, packing up, driving another two hours to attend a five hour meeting, driving home to unpack the car, dry my tent, clean my camera's, cook supper I was ready for bed!

My commiseration's to Leon about the job.

Leon - sorry to hear about the job. Bugger it, you were probably too good anyway...

Paul (and the gang) - hope you got some brilliant photos. Looking forward to seeing them.

My mate's funeral was attended by 200+ friends and family. I got to choose the music - Highway Star by Deep Purple (he was a Harley Davidson rider - as were many of his friends), Blue Ocean by Flying Colors (nice, contemplative but some crunch guitar riffs in there as well) and Roll the Bones by Rush (we were both major Rush fans and the chorus "Why are we here? Because we're here. Roll the Bones...." summed up how we looked at life.)  His wife + close family and friends / neighbours were letting off professional standard fireworks / rockets from his back garden at midnight (whilst having beer and a BBQ) so I needed the weekend to recuperate.

I was excited about my first scan from the £23 Canon flatbed I picked up yesterday so I thought I'd share. Haven't started developing the 5x4 stuff yet, will get to it this week. Hopefully a couple more 6x6 images to come soon too. Yay!

Jolly nice start.

Just read that Leon called me Barrowman ! That's fine but calling Davis a Davies ? You can't make a Jew, Welsh that easily  :D

More pictures please, I need to see what I missed.

Ok, sorry for delay, a busy week, an eclectic selection of the variety available over the weekend. Early rising is very tiring.

Finally getting round to developing some of my 5x4 images from the Wales trip. I'll post them up as I get them done if they're worth seeing and if they don't slip off the peg holding them up to dry and get stuck to the bottom of the bath  :-[
