Holy moly Dave. You can´t keep doing that. I´ll be getting an inferiority complex soon and post pictures never more.

Whilst I have but a little confidence left, a Polaroid (expired 664) shot on my Lucy the Pathfinder

What an eclectic mix--one of the best things about this group--there's everything from the ethereal to the mundane.  I love 'em both: I'm in awe of the carefully printed work and in tune with the photos of a more documentary nature.  That said, here's more on the mundane side--another frame of 5x7 Ilford FP4 (growing to like this stuff) in my Kodak 2-D this time with the Schneider 300mm Symmar on the front end.

From the first pack of film through the DUO TLR. FP3000B, not the best outdoors film. Here rated at EI 6400. Double exposure, a graveyard headstone, and the church steps. A church approaching 1000 years of age.

A couple from my first roll with my new Canonet.  Tri-X in Rodinal.  I always liked the graininess of that but maybe my tastes have changed, it's maybe a bit too grainy....

I was in Cornwall for a week  8), then London for a week  8) and then France for 10 days (camping)  8) and am now finally back in London again - just in time for the rain  >:( I hope you've all had a good summer (if you're in the Northern hemisphere). I didn't take a camera to France (apart from anything my 'roid prints would have been covered in sand within minutes), but I'm working my way through the Cornwall snaps. Here are two that I scanned last week.

Hookstrapped: I'm not put off by the grain in your shots at all. It looks fine. I'm hoping to undertake what now seems to be an annual home devving session next week and will be busting out the Rodders for the occasion.

Fantastic weekend. Well, on Filmwasters, anyway. Suffering through a bad cold, so thought I would scan a bit.

Love those shots, hookstrapped, and those tablecloths, Windy.

Some from a summer parade long gone.

Ed those cornwall pics are awesome, and Jeff I like the pic -- and you find your summer will you see if mine is there too?!? (And send it back home for a bit  :'()

Anyhow, I was hoping the film I processed today was stuff from the beach last weekend but it was some more stuff from when I was at Lake Winnipeg in August.

Shooting a Polaroid with a Kali-Copier attached gives you paper thin DOF. I had been trying to get a good polaroid shot of this spider by our home with little success. Lots of wasted film. Either I'd bump the web and it would move causing blur or the wind would oscillate the web. Once I bumped the web and the spider attacked the Kali-Copier. I eventually did get a sharp image but I actually like the look of this blurred "failed" shot.

It probably would work better if you actually let the spider weave its web on the Kalicopier  ;D

Two of the Maine coastline from my visit this summer.

Kodak Retina I (50/3.5 Schneider Xenar), Kentmere 100

Voigtländer Vito (50/3.5 Skopar), Kodak Gold 200

I got a free roll of Eastman 5222 DoubleX kicking around and decided to test it out to see how I liked the film. I can happily say that I LOVE the look of the film. Sharpness and tonality is all there. Very forgiving. I might look into bulk loading this stuff and using it in replacement of Tri-X and whatever 100 speed film Im shooting with.
