OK - 2nd attempt at posting an image.  I tried attaching the file, but it's not showing as an attachment or an image.  I've started a Flickr account and I've tried to get an image from there.  At least it's showing in the preview as a wee icon.

Well, that's one step closer - at least a click on the icon gets to Flickr.

I'll keep working on it - never say die, until it's too late...

Hiya....it's worked just fine for the last 7 years. A 200kb image can easily be 800px wide, which is about as big as we want because it fits the forum layout nicely....and it helps those members who aren't on a fast connection when they load a page containing a large number of images. In addition to which, Filmwasters isn't a photo sharing site per se, so anything which keeps people's expectations along the right lines in that regard (e.g. no facility to upload really high res images) seems to make sense to us.

You'd be amazed at how big a 200K image really is!
It usually hovers at around 800 pixel at a 90% + quality.
