polaroid arrived in Aus

Wow. Like many others, I was blown away when I opened my print circle print.

Kuru, thankyou. It is a lovely polaroid lift which will soon be framed and on a wall somewhere prominent. I won't even try to scan it. The beauty of the original print would not translate. It so much more than simply the subject in the image.

I received my print today from around the other side of the globe - Taiwan to be exact!  Thanks Formica / William - it's a really good one!

Will post a scan if and when I can coax some life into my ailing scanner...

I sent mine a few weeks ago (UK>UK) but I think they are on holiday and have not got it yet. Any idea how long the post office hold packages for?

Phil, your print made it and I happily thank you!  I have included the best scan I could make - Titled "Raki Making,” the print has a sweeping tonal range and is a feast for the eyes having many intricate details.  Two questions, Phil:

1. What paper was this printed on (very nice texture)?
2. How was the Raki?  ;)

Thanks!

-Ron

Been away on a few weeks holiday so you can imagine my delight when I went to the post office to pick up this beautiful print from Dave Morrow AKA Dave_M. I'm afraid I don't have a scanner so I had to resort to photographing the photograph. Dave it is wonderful and will very shortly be framed and hung on the wall. Thank you.

Ron. So glad that mine arrived safely and that you like it. I can't remember exactly what paper it was printed on but I know that it was an Ilford Fibre paper that was toned. I hope that will suffice! As for the Raki....always good, a poor substitute for Gin but when in Rome as they say.  :P

Today, I received a fantastic print from eddie malin - I wont scan it as it wont do it justice.  It's a darkroom print on the now unavailable Kentmere art classic paper I've never used or seen this paper before, I wish I had it's really nice.  thanks Eddie - that'll go up on the wall asap.

ok everyone .... I'm away for the weekend, but I'll do some number crunching when I'm back and hopefully we can tie up round 2 if most are sent and received.

Do people want a break or shall we press ahead with round 3 soon?
L.

My print should have well and truly reached its recipient by now, I wish I knew if it had, or if there have been any problems. It's a bit frustrating not knowing if it got there or not!

Er – that might have something to do with the fact that it hasn't been posted yet... (Hunts desperately for 'sheepish' smiley...)

However, it is (finally!) packaged up and ready to hit Royal Mail tomorrow. You never know, it may even be with you before summer 2009.

My apologies for the delay.

A lovely Holga print arrived in the post this morning from Phil Morris. I must say it's a rather lovely and beautifully printed image of the interior of the chancel of The Guild Chapel of the Holy Cross, Statford on Avon and will be duly framed and hung in my little cottage on the Isle of Lewis when we finally get there next month. Will scan and post here soon
MAny thanks Phil

Glad you got it safely Tammy and very glad you like it!

I received mine from Chris Pierce over a month ago and I've been terribly lax in getting in scanned.
It's  a beautiful print and I'll have it posted soon.

Alas, mine didn't come either. I'm assuming it got lost in the post. The postal service in Chicago is notorious for losing things.

ok - I'm afraid to say we're still 9 prints short as far as I can tell. this is probably because I havent been keeping my finger on the pulse.  Some of them have been posted as being sent, but havent been received (yet - these thing scan take time).

I think it's best that I take the blame for not keeping my eye on the ball (foot on the pedal, + any other cliche you can think of) so we'll wipe the slate clean and start again.  I promise to be more on top of it all this time, honest.

I've lost the opriginal list of who was sending to who so I cant really check up on enyone .... can those who have sent but not heard if the prints have arrived please contact the person they were sending to dircectly for round 2 prints?  ta.

look out for round three thread to sign up.
