Nikon Top Eye Magazine
« on: February 06, 2013, 03:39:54 PM »
I just found this.
Nikon Japan makes a magazine for high school kids that are enrolled in a photo club.

While I don't think it's very film based, I still feel it's a great thing they do to get kids interested in photography.

All the issues are available in PDF format.

Here is the Nikon Top Eye website.

You might need google translate though  :-\

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

While it is mostly digital, there are some film shots from students, they sometimes have Canon on other manufactures on their pages.

the photography culture in Japan is huge.. i'm glad to see that such a magazine exists. they dont even offer photography at the high school i attended and i live in San Francisco which in my opinion is a pretty large city.
