Must admit to thinking they were Instagrams at first glance... tut tut

It's always a shame to see old images disappearing but they have a beautiful, ghostly quality that is quite fitting under the circumstance.

They most probably are. I tried sticking a daguerreotype on my screen and it simply ends up looking like a mess  :P
