A Short Story about Large Format Photography
« on: January 09, 2013, 08:04:08 PM »
These are really quite bizarre, I'm not sure what to make of them, but some of you large format camera porn fans may enjoy them.  ;)

Why does the embed thing never work for me? Would someone do the honours and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You just have to remove the "s" to switch them from a secure https server to the regular http server. Then it works.

I have absolutely no idea what that was all about .....

Why was the guy in the first one using a bulb blower on his focusing bed? And why was that photo funny in the second one?

really quite bizarre - nicely filmed though :)

Nice to see my old camera putting on a show in the first film :)

Watched them both and somehow just didn't get it...
Must be due to not having access to TV over the last six months or so.

I don't 'get' either of these, though the sub-text seems to be messing with the idea of LF being slow and cumbersome, I thought that was part of the pleasure. The guy in the 2nd film does however appear to be irritated with the snapping being done by the guy with a dslr.

The tip about removing the 's' is pretty cool however, so it's been worthwhile following the thread :D

You're welcome.
I had this thing annoy me a few times. After a bit of head scratching, I had this idea and it worked.
Looks like the forum's youtube embed plugin ain't too smart in the end :)
