This is great and I've been an admirer of his work for years.

He made the remark that he shoots film "because it's what he's comfortable with".
That really resonated with me.

I think everyone should watch this.
It has re-inspired me in a way that nothing else has this whole year.
Thanks for posting.

Really enjoyed that. Thanks for posting, Sandeha.

Like Becky said, it resonated in a way that nothing has for a while - a kick up the ass is always good!

Finally decided to watch it last night. I wasn't expecting it to be as interesting.

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

Never heard of the bloke before but really good. I watched another video of him on Vimeo showing the weird mix of stuff he has in his camera bag at any one time. Not as good as the original post but interesting nevertheless as it's not your usual 2 x Canon 5D Mk IIIs and a load of expensive glass....

In The Bag with photographer David Burnett on Vimeo
"An ounce of perception. A pound of obscure".

I love his work and his attitudes and I've been trying to book him into the Event Space. I think it will happen some time soon. We just need to find a time when he can do it. Stay tuned!

noticed he had his bulb lever on his Holga taped with gaff tape....

I would love to see him in person, better yet, just follow him around for a week or so.
