Polaroid day - Black Edition book
« on: November 22, 2012, 12:18:35 PM »
Green of envy of Mr. Windy´s editorial success I must reveal that I also participated in a book project ¨Polaroid Day: Black Edition¨, with contributions from 42 photographers. Few of my Polaroids were included in the book, which was released by a Korean publisher in 2010..   http://play-ground.kr/indexhibit/index.php?/book/polaroid-day-black-edition/

I decided to enlarge the Polaroids, because, as the wolf said to Red Riding Hood, “all the better to see you with, my dear.” Mrs Helmut Newton

Superb!  About time you published your own book with some of the portraits you took in Khartoum?  That would be pretty special!

Thanks Aksel, it was one of my first street shots with the Polaroid 195, the children were not my children, they were with their parents, the father being a photographer was keen on letting me photograph his boys  :) and they were very happy with the Catpain´s caps! Nowadays not an easy task to photograph children that are not yours...

Yes! Publishing a book with the portraits I took in Khartoum is one of my projects  8)  I will divide the book in two, portraits with the POlaroid and portraits with the Rollefilex.. this is the reason because I always shot with the Rollei and Polaroid in Khartoum and focused on portraits, not that there was much else to shoot at  :'(. I also would like to make one book with the Polaroid portraits I have taken since I started shooting Polaroid which is not so long ago (2009). Once I finish the soft cover version of the filmwasters book (almost there) I will start the others.
