movie tip

I just saw "Beasts of the Southern Wild" and it was maybe the best movie I've seen in forever, it sort of made me feel like it was the first movie I've ever seen.  Anyway, it was shot on 16mm film and a lot of its feel and impact comes from the textures and colors of film, and I think many filmwasters would appreciate the visual aesthetic of the movie.

I saw the trailer for this film in a theatre last week, looks gorgeous!  Thanks for the reminder to see it!  I might recommend another film with wonderful visual impact as well - Moonrise Kingdom.  Beautiful, and a wonderful story, to boot!

Thanks again,

Mark
