I need one. It's like a gigantic TLR without the R bit. Not considering weight that would make it easier to shoot handheld.  ;)

The more I look at it the more it calls out to me. Or I just try to build one out of scrap and meccano.

Very clever....it might even scratch an itch for anyone feeling the need to move up a step from a 5x4-sized camera, but who doesn't want to be bothered with 8x10 film.

Oh! it's just like a Peter Gowland TLR!
I must admit that these don't run on the streets! They were studio cameras mostly used with models. The camera came with either two 4x5 cameras with the top one fitted with a reflex hood or a mammoth 4x5 viewing camera and 8x10 taking camera! I don't know if the Keith cameras had the 8x10 model but Gowland certainly did.

These things are simply huge. I know they were used at one point by Playboy to capture the exquisite detail required for their publication... or so they say.

You don't, perchance, happen to know which volume? Not interested myself, of course, but others might want to track an example down - just to check the photographic quality........ ;) :o

I don't know. I guess we'd have to go through their extensive backlog one issue at a time...  ::)   :-X

Will you at least supply the magnifier?
You know, those printing screens can really trick the eye when it comes down to sharpness  ;)

Calm down, calm down.  They only needed the big one for the centerfolds.
