Looking real good for a first development try robclarke!
Another excellent start to the weekend. I was going to make a pun about Fluminian's boat shot but only the Londoners would think it was funny. Good to see the portraits anyhow, and congrats to Rob for taking the plunge and developing his own--there's no going back!
One of the best weekends? Wow! Sphinxes, cars, trees, boats, bridges, snows and - yesss! - great portraits ..... and some more fine pictures.Caffenol-C-H (rs) seems to become the new hipster brew, so I don't want to stay behind. These were taken yesterday with an old Agfa Isolette and uncoated 4.5 85 Apotar lens on Ilford HP5+ @ EI 200, developed in Caffenol-C-H (rs) with 0.8 g/l pot. bromide, 10 minutes, 20 °C, standard agitation. Pulling one stop perfectly tamed the huge contrast from the strong backlight, very small grain.
btw, I've got one of those isolettes with 85mm apotar. needs a good once over though, it's still got that old grease that has hardened up on the lens focusing and rangefinder. at the minute I'm trying to fix the original bellows with black silicone. it might end up needing some proper new ones from sandeha though...
