Nice start! Love that one Miller, just cool, it looked to me like chocolate Polaroid.

Two with the Rollei, kodak tmax 400. Portraits again. The first shots is somehow special to me. I was riding a pubic bus when I saw that young man just sitting there as you can see in the picture. I stopped the bus and went down. But then I was hesitant to approach the youngster and talk to him. To be honest I was afraid that if I approached him he might react violently. He seemed peaceful but he also seemed to have gone through some hard experiences. I approached some people that were around and somehow we went close to the youngster. I though he just looked beautiful. At the end it worked just fine and he did not seem to mind to be taken a couple of pictures. In these kind of situations I try not to depict the ¨harsh¨ elements but to try to convey the beauty I sense. If it makes sense.

Carlos, I think you have shown the beauty quite well.
Lawrie, did you sneak into my yard?  It looks like the drought ridden dirt packs we have around here!

Great start to the weekend.  Always love the assortments from around the globe!

Whoo, it's my first participation in a long time. These were shot last month in Sainte-Maire-du-Mont in the Chartreuse massif in the French Alps. Arax 88 and Fuji Velvia. The first two with the CZJ 50mm Flektogon the third with the Arax MC 80mm.

Lucio Dalla died yesterday.  These were his streets ...

Rolleicord and Rolleiflex T, Neopan 400.

There's a rather nice clip of him singing one of his better known compositions here, with Pavarotti ...

I'd intended a link, but you get an embed.   :-*

@ Carlos : The film is some IP stuff that I think went wrong in production (low sensitivity) and gave a orange hue. They sold it real cheap and titled it 'Orange Flash' as a flash or strong light was required.

Urban : Your last shot is superb.

Thank you Miller! Weird colors for Velvia, aren't they? I would have guessed overexposed Fuji Pro 400H if I hadn't shot the roll myself.

Favourites for me so far this week are Miller's polaroid, Charles' Toledo door and Lawrie's dried mud pan.

Have been mainly shooting 120 recently, so have only this week finished and scanned this roll of 35mm.  One from a trip to Southwold in January - Bessa R2M/APX100/Moersch Finol.

A mountain road that leads through a gap in some mountains in Donegal, Ireland. Taken a few weeks ago during a long weekend break. Having slept through a couple of glorious dawns (according to my wife),  I managed to drag myself out of bed to try and catch one of these beauties. Instead there was a blanket of cloud hiding the sky and a heavy, wind blown drizzle. I only dared to use my Holga in such wet conditions, while leaning out of my car window. I'm such a wimp.

Fantastic weekend all round!

Heres one from the first roll through my new Olympus OM10... Had two Zuiko lenses sitting in my room for ages waiting for a camera, managed to pick one up for a tenner from one of my local car boots.

Its not quite spring yet but a large amount of these little fur balls have arrived on Avenue Farm. I will have to check on the actual figure but it must be nearly 40 with a 100% success rate this year. We took a ram (possibly this ones sire) to a show last year and won 2nd prize so going to be taking atleast one ram again from this lot and hope to win a prize. The rest of the rams from this flock are destined for the table :-p

Fantastic selection of images, as usual, this "weekend". My faves are from CharlesBinns, Lawrie, Diane, Sandeha and Paul Mitchell.

My efforts were taken on our trip to the Yorkshire Dales. These were from the visit to Hardraw Force, England's highest single drop waterfall. Taken on Ilford XP2 Super using Hasselblad 500c/m and 40mm CFT* FLE (first two) and 80mm f2.8 (last one). No filters.
