Leon's next camera
« on: February 16, 2012, 11:15:31 PM »
We all know our own Leon is pretty stoked about his new soon to be delivered 4x5 Chamonix.
But we also somehow feel it could be only one of many steps towards ultra large format.
Now this is the last step in the chain.

Just take a look at the darkroom trays that they had custom made for the project :)

cool looking thing Francois.

For clarity sake - the new 5x4 is only a sideways move - I sold another 5x4 to be able to buy this one, so I'm not on an ever increasing film size spiral. (I hope).

I hope for you too... just the logistics of ULF would pretty much kill some of the fun... then again...  :-\

Don't ever look at the ground glass of 8x10 it is rocky road to ruin down which I am unfortunately travelling.
It's making the house big enough for the enlarger that's the problem.

Leon, Chamonix looks very cool. Phenidone turned up thankfully.
