his impossible work is fantastically inspiring to me. he seems to be getting lovely moody, clear and colourful work from the impossible film, , , well compared to me anyway

Thanks for posting that link Aoluain. Having just acquired a Polaroid 2000, it's rekindled both my interest and a bit of my faith in the TiP films.

Chalky also put me onto the Px 600 silver shade uv+ film (I like the black border version for some reason) so I must get my mitts on some soon and see if I can fashion an ND filter somehow. Mind you, a few shots I've seen seem to be without the ND and with just the dial set to "dark". Any thoughts on this?

Wish I could get enthusiastic about FlickR again... Think I've dropped 5 shots in about a year...

hey paul, yea im gonna have to do some more research on tip film
and how to get the best results from the first flush stuff.

so a bit of a learning curve ahead of me too.

I'd normally use a pack filter when using px600 in my sx-70.

but I forgot it the other day at a wedding so just shot 2 films with the dial all the way to dark and got some results I was really happy with.

the flilm is certainly improving...

If it's the first "first flush" stuff, I wouldn't waste your time or money. The pack I had was absolute garbage. However, if they've moved it on a bit (check out Chalky's work on Flickr - both mono and colour) then it might be worth the effort and expense.

Hey Jonas, if he can afford £20 for 8 shots of TiP film on a regular basis, he can afford £10 a year (or whatever it is) for a Flickr "Pro" account......

I think the stuff I got was the first first flush

these were shoty on a dull evening with dial turned to fully dark.
