Diane, I 'm pretty sure digi images of film cameras are allowed...just not images "made" with digi cameras.   :)

Seems I've seen quite a few here.

I was going to say the same.

Just before I posted this :D, my new friend from the South London Camera Fair - five English pounds, who can say fairer!

Francois gave me some much needed help with the knob on the left..but I am wondering if anyone who might have one of these has any suggestions about the lens..this camera is really amazing looking for age but it seems like the shutter won't move..any suggestions...??

Hmmm....I don't know anything about this camera, but some cameras need to be loaded with film before they will work properly.

This "might" be one of that type.

 :)

There's a load of stuff on this site : http://www.exaktaphile.com/, even if it is a bit difficult to navigate. I might be worth dropping him an email.

Thank you to you both!! I managed to figure out how to load film even though it doesn't have what I consider a normal take up spool for 35 mm..so I am good there..I am going to run this role of film through and then wait for the person at the site Nigel kindly sent to respond...

Diane,
I've got four of them and my VXIIa is my go-to street camera.  I've never had a 35mm camera I liked as well.  It takes a little getting-used-to but the idea of advancing the film with your left hand and pulling focus with your right actually makes much more sense if you're right handed.  I've got a few bits and pieces lying around if you find you need spares or accessories...

You're welcome Diane! I guess I'll watch it again and then I'll want one, too :)
