Sorry, but with all the Apple mayhem a friend sold me his old Apple TV 2 (to offset the cost of an Apple TV 3) for $40. Now, I am geek all week at work, but I don't surround myself with the stuff when I get home.
Let me just say, totally worth the price. I have "hillbilly bandwidth" here in the subarctic, but I can still catch some Netflix, and, most importantly, it's a brilliant little piece of gear for podcasts. I added all my car favorites and of course added Filmwasters, and now dorking around with streaming media from my local iTunes library.
I can't watch the Filmwasters videos directly from the podcast feed, but I can from my local library (which saves me some bandwidth), so now I'm watching Woody and Leon go for a walk on the big screen. I'm like a kid in a candy store, let me tell you.
Also, set my screensaver to my Flickr favorites, which is way better than that default crap photography from National Geographic they try to cram down your throat.
