Well done Mr Rice.......
« on: December 28, 2011, 08:48:16 AM »
I received my copy of the January Black and White (UK version) in the post the other day and noticed that a Mr Damion Rice has had a selection of Pola/Fuji-roids of various bands in the Birmingham area printed - and given a prize to-boot......

Nice one - really nice shots  :)

Many thanks!   I saw it the other day, it was a nice surprise when I got in from work.

Christmas also brought me some of those handy bank of England vouchers which has meant I can finally buy vuescan and start scanning some pictures again.

Although have only ever used silver fast and photoshop CS3   Im now on vuescan and an old version of elements ..... It's a big change!

Aah yes, I call them "beer vouchers" and there's always too much month left at the point when they run out...!! ;)

I'm using VueScan as well and I import the TIFF scans into CS3 before processing saving them as JPEGS. Why "Elements" - unless you've chosen to use it instead of CS3? Operating system incompatibility issue?

I used to have CS3, my computer died and CS3 was lost!

Elements is all I have.
