nine lives and old film
« on: November 03, 2011, 08:30:44 PM »
I finally got around to processing that ancient roll of Kodacolor X that came in an old Ilford Sporti mentioned in another thread.

The only image that came out was this one...of a cat.
So I guess cats really do have nine lives!

I processed for 15 minutes @ 60F in paper developer.

Umm, I think, Becky, I think that cat is dead.

it does have a hint of death about it. The cat and the picture. Very strange. Like it.

Maybe the photographer killed him. Maybe he's moved on to people now. Maybe he's a serial killer who started out on cats (they say serial killers start out on animals). Maybe that camera is the key piece of evidence to solving a murder mystery.

Or maybe this is just what cat owners did before they invented YouTube.

maybe I should send that camera back to the UK.....?

I was thinking the cat looked like it was sunbathing.

-Oysters
-Fiat 1800
-Parrot
-Dead/sun bathing cat

I'm thinking that film belonged to Eric Idle.
