Just a quick hello from West Australia
« on: February 14, 2007, 02:57:02 PM »
Hi everyone, I recognise some old "faces" from various places around the net and look forward to meeting new ones. I'm a photographer in Western Australia and am an all-film girl. I've owned 3 pro digi cameras and each time they sit in the cupboard. I rarely buy anything new, love pre-owned and antique stuff, although I seem to be allergic to clutter. ;) I'm not neat, but passionate about my work and top quality is high on my list of personal satisfaction. My darkroom currently plays a mix of Carla Bruni, Norah Jones, Bad Company and Bryan Adams... and a towering stack of other stuff. My car is non-existent since I recently parked it under a bus and so I'm on a spending spree to find another one that really suits my character.  :D It's time to finally move to a Mac this year and finish off some long-term renovations around the home that are driving me nuts. And as always... up my photography a notch or two.

That's a lot of info for a brief introduction. If you made it to the end, congratulations. I look forward to catching up with you on filmwasters.  :)

Well hello Western Australia. You're very, very welcome. I hope you enjoy your time here. BTW, what a good idea to post a little intro information. I like it; a very polite and friendly way to start things off.  :)

Hi Nic

Wow- my life in 100 words or less! You did a great summary. I think the choice of darkroom music is a frequently overlooked insight into any photographer's psyche.

cheers
